The jumpsuit got the name "Spectrum", because Elvis wore it the first time at the Spectrum in Philadelphia on November 8, 1971. When Elvis wore this suit in 1971, there was no "extra nail" on both sides between the third and fourth button. Some months later, in April 1972, Elvis wore the suit again, but now there was these extra nails on it. The reason for the extra nails is: one or more nails just feel off, or was pull off by fans, and after this Elvis gave the suit for repair to I.C. Costumes and they replace the lost studds, and also add these 2 "extra" nails. There was NO 2 different "Spectrum" suits - only ONE version! Today you can see the suit with the 2 new nails in Graceland.
