Elvis' second concert tour of 1977. Elvis arrived in Phoenix a little after midnight, it's also reported that Elvis had lost a lot of weight, but began to tire towards the end of the first show in Tempe, that night.

After the disappointing recording sessions at Graceland in October and the cancelled session in January, Felton Jarvis. Needing to come up with new material for forthcoming releases rents an eight-track machine and begins to record Elvis on Tour. Because almost Elvis' entire live repertoire has been released previously Felton suggests titles for Elvis to try, but Elvis doesn't go out of his way to try anything new.

Elvis' show in Baton Rouge. Was going ahead all the band and singers were there the audience was there, but Elvis never got out of bed, it was announced during the intermission that the remainder of the concert was cancelled. Elvis' final three shows were also cancelled and would be rescheduled All concerts were sold out. Elvis returned to Memphis with his doctor, and checked into hospital but checked himself out after only five days.
