December 18, 1954
Elvis performed at the Louisiana Hayride, Municipal Auditorium, Shreveport. Elvis added 2 more songs to his act: Hearts Of Stone and Shake, Rattle And Roll.
AND
Elvis Presley recorded "Milkcow Blues Boogie."
December 18, 1968
The Trouble With Girls was completed and finally Elvis was released by the studio.
December 18, 1969
Somewhat later than usual Elvis returned to Memphis for the Christmas season. Until his return to Los Angeles on January 6, he would spent almost every night at the Memphian.
December 18, 1970
In hopes of placating his father, Elvis bought him a Mercedes. Vernon had expressed his concern about Elvis' way of spending his money in the last couple of weeks.

Priscilla and Lisa Marie arrived in Memphis and Elvis received a bill for the installation of a basket ball court at his Palm Springs home.
