The afternoon this paper hit the streets in Memphis, Elvis was busy taping his second day of songs for RCA in Nashville. On Tuesday Presley laid down "I Got A Woman," "Heartbreak Hotel" and "Money Honey." By the end of day Wednesday he would have "I'm Counting On You" and "I Was The One" in the can.
What a phenomenal start.
