Elvis performed at the Davy Crocket High School Football Stadium, Conroe, Texas.
August 24, 1956
Soundtrack recording began on the Fox soundstage and run from 1.00 to 6.00 p.m. and Elvis had to work with studio musicians instead of with Scotty, Bill and DJ. He recorded "We're Gonna Move" and "Love Me Tender" at 20th Century Fox in Hollywood, CA.

Elvis returned to Fort Hood.

Elvis continued his spiritual studies with Larry Geller in Memphis as well as screening movies at the Fairgrounds or the Memphian.
