Elvis performed at the Driller Park, Kilgore, Texas.
August 12, 1956
Elvis performed at the Municipal Auditorium, New Orleans, Louisiana at 4.00 and 8.15 p.m.
August 12, 1958
Elvis obtained emergency leave and flew to Memphis with Lamar Fike and went straight to see his mother in the hospital.
In Memphis, Elvis Presley visited his mother in the hospital. She had been diagnose with acute hepatitis.

Elvis flew from Tampa to Los Angeles.

Elvis Presley was released by the studio after concluding work on the film "Girl Happy."
