January 01, 1956 Elvis performed at the Kiel Auditorium, St. Louis, Missouri, at 3.00 and 8.00 p.m. Elvis flew from Shreveport with Red West to play a Grand Ole Opry package headlined by Hank Snow and featuring Webb Pierce. January 01, 1958 Elvis was visited by Jimmie Rodgers Snow, Hank Snow's son, at Graceland. January 01, 1959 Elisabeth Stefaniak moved into the hotel with Elvis and his household. She was hired to answer all the fan mail, learning quickly from Red and Lamar how to sign Elvis' name. January 01, 1970 Elvis went to the Memphian, like he would be almost every night until he left for Los Angeles and it was during this time he saw the movie Patton for the first time. This film made an enormous impression on him and he memorized the dramatic speech at its beginning.
