Dixie left for a vacation in Florida with her family. Later that day after supper, Scotty Moore tried to reach Elvis by phone. Although Elvis was at the movies,
 his mother fetched him and when Elvis called back, Scotty explained that he has gotten Elvis name from Sam Philips and that he was wondering if Elvis would 
be interested in an audition.
July 03, 1955
Elvis performed at the Hoedown Club, Corpus Christi, Texas from 4.00 to 8.00 p.m.
July 03, 1956
Elvis run into Gene Vincent at Pennsylvania Station in New York City and board on the 11.30 train for Memphis.
July 03,1960 
 Elvis's father, Vernon, announced that he would remarry. Elvis' mother had died two years before

Elvis and his gang went to the Memphian.

Elvis performed at the Omni, Atlanta, Georgia.
