On April 15,1957 the day the Presleys had hoped to move into Graceland, they were still living in the house on Audubon. Contractors still had a month's work ahead of them. On that day, however, Elvis, now back in town after completing his spring tour, visited Graceland and posed for photographers on a tractor he had purchased for use on the property.
