NOVEMBER 20, ON THIS DAY IN ELVIS HISTORY

Elvis performed at the Louisiana Hayride, Municipal Auditorium, Shreveport.
Elvis flew back to Memphis.
Back in Memphis Elvis and Nick Adams were spotted riding motorcycles. Late at night they attended a private showing of Love Me Tender at the Loew's State Theater. Apparently Gladys cried at the end of the film, when Elvis' character died.
Elvis gave a press conference at the Hawaiian Village Hotel to announce the satellite show once again. The date was set on the morning of January 14, 1973, with a concert dress rehearsal for a live audience the night before. Since the Las Vegas press conference it had been turned into a charity concert at the instigation of Honolulu advertiser columnist Eddie Sherman, who suggested that it should benefit the Kui Lee Cancer Fund. Elvis mad the first contribution with a $1,000 check.
Elvis attended a show at the Memphian.
Elvis was back in Palm Springs with Linda. Voice came over for Thanksgiving week as well. However there was not much for them to do.
Elvis met Ginger only one day ago, but they decided to go out on a date tonight. They started in the plane to see the skyline of Memphis, but they ended up in Vegas, after Ginger had called her mother for permission. They were chaperoned by Patsy and Gee Gee Gambill. They flew back the next day.
