Elvis's song "Loving You," the b-side of "Teddy Bear," hit #24 in the U.K.
November 02, 1958
Elvis gave a party at his hotel before going out on maneuvers. He sang and played guitar for Margit Buergin and other friends while a crowd collected in the street below. Around this time he received a call from Dee Stanley, the wife of an American sergeant stationed in Frankfurt, inviting him to dinner with her family. Elvis did not go, but Vernon accepted the invitation later, while Elvis was on maneuvers.
November 02, 1961
Elvis had a meeting at Hidden Lodge, Idyllwild, California. Here was the script meeting for Kid Galahad.

The Elvis  film "Girls! Girls! Girls!" premiered.

Elvis flew to Palm Springs.

Elvis returned to Los Angeles after spending the weekend at Palm Springs. At the Beverly Hills' Optique Boutique Elvis picked up a pair of customized goggles as well as 2 pairs of non-prescription glasses and 2 solid gold frames.

Elvis flew back to Memphis. He had to make final preparations for his upcoming tour.
