Elvis performed at the Louisiana Hayride, Municipal Auditorium, Shreveport.

Elvis and June showed Elvis ' parents New Orleans, after which Vernon and Gladys returned to Memphis.

Elvis was in Las Vegas once again for the weekend. During the filming of Speedway he spent most weekends either in Las Vegas or Palm Springs.
